PACWEST/IBMP Annual Scholarships
As part of the outreach to attract new and potential personnel to the pulp and paper industry, the PACWEST Conference and its organizing committee have long supported educational efforts of students wishing to build their career in the industry. Our financial contribution through the funding of annual scholarships is our commitment to enable ongoing student development and recognition. John Milligan and Carl Markerth, former IBMP members and conference co-chairs with long-standing pulp & paper careers, have also generously provided through their legacies, contributions to the scholarship program.

Collectively, we recognize in order to nurture the next generation of leaders and supporters for the pulp and paper industry, we must strive to engage students by embracing those that aspire to apply. To ensure the benefits are continuously realized, we are committed to promote intern opportunities to students for workplace experience within our industry environment.
